they do, moron. it's incentivizing pro-social/pro-environmental behavior, or rather impact

            here is one example:

everyone's a critic, sheesh. what do you propose, then?
            anyway:
non-monetary incentives can be powerful too (if doing something is part of the culture- if people are rewarded with status, or privilege, or alternately people are avoiding punishment for not doing the thing)
but at the present moment, the world is run by babylonian black magicians who have us all under the spell of concretized value called "money" so monetary incentives are powerful. when they roll out these social credit score digital wallets, other incentives (and disincentives) will presumably become available.
and, for those who decline to participate in mainstream society after the transformation to technocracy is complete, clean water and air is its own incentive, no? perhaps a return to a balance with nature will be powerful enough to inspire people to help clean up.
We're talking about multi-decade transitions here though.

yes correct carbon offsets are bullshit
the real value they provide is a channel for funds to be delivered to environmental preservation/restoration projects around the world
the problem is that all the projects and channels are owned by the beneficiaries of the current system (evil corporations, tin-pot dictators, landed aristocracy). carbon is treated as a commodity just like oil and sold by the same commodities brokers, which are of course run by satanist pedophiles who have no interest in addressing the structural issues underlying our system

Man made climate change does not exist. It is a cudgel used to scare people into surrendering political power. Carbon tokens do not exist; its reach people moving money and using it to claim they are exempt from the hellish rules they seek to set in place. The richest people all have beach front property. man made climate change is a farce.

yes this is true as well, personally i am certain that shifting magnetic poles and solar cycles, combined with weather control/warfare technology through ionospheric heating (think: HAARP) account for much more of the changes in weather patterns than we think, as well as shifts in the gulf stream etc (russia is the main beneficiary of this as the breakup of north pole ice opens up their northern sea route to China)

            >carbon tokens do not exist, it is rich people moving money and extremely high level corruption
this is also true and you have no idea how bad it truly is. if you haven't heard of it already, the "Just Energy Transition" or Just Transition is the umbrella of policies by which they will extend (or attempt to extend) their climate dictates to the rest of the population

So what's your solution? Ban plastic bags and packages? I'm up for that actually. But it puts much more burden on transport, all of a sudden instead of 1% of freight weight and size being the package, it's 30%.

True, but the ingredients, processing machinery and much of the plastic itself originates from Merrika so it not only taught them everything they know, it even helps them collect the stuff while offloading from their own shithole. Indonesia is especially bad. I think they have 100 million people on an island, that's another problem that has no solution other than relying on nature to clean it up. Picrel, cheap prostitutes, lots of plastic.
