So you want to die for Israel?

Looking at the speed the current happenings are happening it looks like Israel won't exist by the time I actually enlist. And anyway I want to fight against the last remnants of Daesh which I think is a noble fight

Exactly, soldiers who die are often viewed as martyrs and celebrated by most people nationally and even some internationally. If I get mutilated or crippled or whatever I'll kill myself

        Good choice then.
After you die, people will call you a hero.
If you live though, people will revile you as a burden.

I've encountered this. Interviewed for a job I was more than qualified for and had experience in. The person interviewing me hadn't even looked at my resume and didn't know who I was or what I was applying for.
I've also applied online, got an interview, only to be told in person at the beginning of the interview that they aren't actually hiring but are going to keep my name and resume on file.

The most insane encounter I've had, they made me wait for 4 hours, sent a random HR person to renegotiate with me. Essentially changing the pay and requirements mid interview. I turn to leave and they won't buzz me out (open the magnetic lock door.) They had changed the pay from 40k yearly to 12 an hour. I basically had to tell them I was armed and holding someone without consent was not only a felony but cause for self defense.

Remove female managers and HR clerks and suddenly men will get hired in all sorts of positions that aren’t grunt work.

Imagine being a man and getting a comfy receptionist job that pays well enough to get by and have weekends off without going home stressed.

If anons were smart they’d use the same tactics against the PR firms.

      “Quiet quitting”
      “great resignation”
These aren’t real things. They’re excuses for why no one is hiring. The reality is there’s less good jobs than ever before, the economy sucks, and outsourcing is up almost 20% in the last year alone.

So counter it. Here’s some ideas.

      > Why HR is a cost-center and how we became more profitably by axing it
      > how experienced/inexperienced HR teams may be causing you millions in liabilities
      > how nepotism by HR teams is putting your business at the risk of a lawsuit
      > Using AI resume screening? You may want to stop.
      > What’s left to automate HR away? -> answer=nothing.
      > why outsourcing is driving your customers/partners/investors away

      Get creative.

    The world outside is hell.

Rent in my area starts at $1600 a month for a 1 bedroom apartment. My aunt lives in one with 4 other people and they have a mattress in the "living room." I just spent $200 for the equivalent of two and a half weeks of groceries. My morning breakfast sandwich and coffee cost me $20. I have to pay $300 tomorrow for my phone bill + car insurance.

Everyone I see outside is some type of mixed race mutt. Today at target I saw a 6'5 mixed brown goblin ginger (with light eyes and an afro) walking around. Every other kid is mixed race mystery meat. All the women under 40 (and some over) dress like prostitutes, even the kids. I saw a 7 year old wearing crop tops and a yoga pants.

Can someone tell me why I should show up to an interview for a second job on Monday?

I quit going to work after I realized 90% of the time I'm just wasting my time doing pointless shit nobody cares about and not getting ahead in life.
I worked there a lot over the past 12 years and the wagie community was a major factor in my decision to not work anymore. NEETs did it to an extent as well but WAGIES are far worse.
Someone could give a long drawn out and factually accurate explanation of what would have to happen for me to even be able to one day buy a home and have a family and why working was fraudulent. The post would get a dozen responses of
    >WHY SHOULD YOU EAT?
    >when you know you know
    >economic collapse is coming
    >stack metals the end is nigh
    >keep waging homosexual
    >100% eoy silver will reach 5k an ounce
Or some equally long schizo post explaining numerology, using bible scripture and random posts here explaining how by the end of the year billions will be unemployed because of the AI.
    Here we are.
After seeing the nothingburger today I came here just to watch the seething and suicide letters. It’s beyond EOY, the jobs didn't disappear, the banks didn't collapse (unfortunately), no more use cases and all the dirty laundry is out in the air now.
It’s not going to be Millennial's Economic Paradise, it will not be the Roaring 20's all over again. The world will not be descending into hyper deflation and prosperity (as was obsessed over for months/years) it will be going on as usual with no major gains or rewards.
I will enjoy watching wagies burn every step along the way.
    Why?
Because those fricking idiots deserve it all.

Call all non-bots on /misc/!!! Is OPs statement actually correct or is it pure demoralization? I'm in my late 20s and have never had much trouble getting a job. Over summer break in college, I just walked down main street in my area, went into each of the businesses and asked for a job. I only had to go in to like 5 before I got hired. It was a shitty job, but turned out alright for a summer job, much better than fast food or cash register shit. After college, it took a few weeks to get hired, it was pretty shitty, like 50k in a HCOL area, but it led to better things and now I make 6 figures.

I want to know if I'm out of touch, or if these posters are frauds. I understand that young people are stuck with shitty jobs, but I don't understand how they could have no job. Don't you just eventually get hired if you keep applying? Why wouldn't you, there's like a million jobs out there, right?

I don't think it's too hard to get a bad job, not implying the jobs you found are shitty, but a lot of them are. If I was desperate there are agency jobs that are dog shit for dogsbodies.

The main issue is breaking out of the bad jobs and into good jobs. I had two good jobs turn into bad jobs over a number of years because the pay increases did not keep pace.

Perhaps such threads are demoralising, I think they are striking at the reality (except for the copy pasta crap) of work in modern days. Young people work so hard for their jobs, only for them to get replaced by cheaper workers or for the jobs to go abroad, what work is available after a few decades of this is bad jobs, especially service jobs.

I am unwilling to work service or retail style jobs, which are majority in my area, but there are some industrial park jobs occasionally I can do or boring office work if I am desperate from agencies or solicitors/legal work.
