GF admitted to fantasizing about other men

As a bit of context, my GF and I are in our late 20s, our 7th anniversary is coming up and I was her first real long term boyfriend and sex partner.

We were watching Poor Things and get to talking about the fact that women should experience their own sexuality when they're young.

As a joke, I said 'well your time is up as we're obviously getting married' and she got awkward, of course I asked her something along the lines of 'what, you're thinking about other men right now?' And she reluctantly confirmed that she's actively thinking about having sex with other men.

Should I be worried?

You've been with her for 7 years, are in your late 20s and haven't married her? You made this happen.

Yeah she would definitely never fantasize if she was married kek.

It's a different mindset. He's 7 years in and has failed to commit. Why shouldn't she start looking at her other options? It's clear he isn't going to do anything.

Is seven really that long of a time to wait?? Considering how everyone says not to rush into things. Waiting 10 years on a decision to be with them the rest of your life seems reasonable, no? I mean you’ve been “with” them this long that commitment should have started when the relationship did not at marriage.

          >20 year mortgages are okay

            This

It's 30 year mortgages not 20, and they are proposing 40 year ones because most people can't even pay a 30 now.

Why did you hookup with a non-virgin woman? Jesus god Almighty. Stop shacking up with HOOKERS, guys for the love of anything HOLY. If she wants to bang other dudes, she WILL cheat on you. Never take a non-virgin female seriously. She has been alpha-widowed by some other guy. Never marry a non-virgin, she has no ability to pair bond. Pair bonding is when two people fall in love because they had sex with each other for the first time (she lost her virginity to you) & they genuinely found each other attractive. A woman cannot pair bond if she already had previous dicks inside her vegana. She is an emotionally damaged person at that point.

the true answer even if it does fricking suck to hear. human beings were meant to be with one person. this world is full of damaged people as a result [other things too but this is a huge factor]. you can still mess around, just treat it like spinning plates, as soon as it falls and breaks , just pick up another. Never stop looking for a pure girl who will give YOU the chance.

What if you were the first, took a break, and 1 or 2 or say 10 fell into her? Can #1 still have a happy life or is he just a frick at that point?

        Anonymous

Well, #1 would have a better chance of success simply by being the first. Nevertheless, she’ll still be jaded from all the experiences, so #1 probably won’t get the same spark from the first time.

      Different ballgame
Also, women fantasize about other men when they're with a man, no shit; for her to tell him about it is an emergency situation

    >We were watching Poor Things
This is where you fricked up. A movie about a woman fleeing her relationship to explore and discover her sexuality? That certainly would have no influence on an unmarried woman in a similar situation. Idiot.

    >As a joke, I said 'well your time is up as we're obviously getting married'
    >You tease, and simultaneously remind, her about the fact that you’ll possibly the only guy she’ll have sex with for the rest of her life
YOU DONE FRICKED UP NOW BOY.

Don’t act surprised when she says she needs “a break” from the relationship to “process her emotions” (getting railed by a random guy in a club bathroom stall) next month kek

      Anonymous

Be that as it may, we never feel it's necessary to tell women our fantasies because it will just cause trust issues and drama within the relationship. Women on the otherhand feel the need to tell me they want to frick their friends and then get upset when their man is hurt by this admission.

    >conversation about how women should get to bawd about
    >literally tells you she wants to sleep with other men
all but saying she wants an "open relationship" hahahaha

  9. 2 months ago

Sounds like she's considering asking you to open up the relationship or something. Think about if you want to. If you earnestly do (and not just to keep her around), worth a shot I suppose. Whatever floats your boat, just don't be stupid about it. But if you don't, it's worth discussing if she's willing to commit to only you forever. If she isn't, sorry, but it might be time to split. Better now than after being cheated on in 5 years, I suppose.

Have you guys not had the marriage talk yet? I can understand not being married if you started dating at like 20, but you should at least have spoken about what the rest of your lives will look like together.

Most likely once the "open relationship conversation" frontier is crossed and you don't want it, it's still over. Sure she could agree to commit and convince her own self that she will because she still wants to be in the relationship, but it's probably only a matter of time before she gives herself an excuse to cheat. After all she has expressed her wishes openly at this point, it basically softens the internal crisis of conscience around such betrayal. This is just how people behave, and that's without even assuming some sort of resentment around it.

No, there's nothing to worry about since it's 100% over.

You should be. And you should reconsider your thoughts about marriage with your gf. There is a high probability that she will cheat on you. Yes, just based on the fact that you know from this conversation. That's why it is important to have these kind of convos at the beginning of the relationship. Grab a bottle of wine, create comfy atmosphere and ask her about her exes, her wildest sexual fantasies, etc. Based on answers decide i she is a good potential wife, or just a mistress.

What do you mean by "actively thinking about having sex with other men?"

As in she thinks some celebrity is hot and has had a passive attaction, or maybe even jerk offd with the thought of him? Or that she is thinking she would actually like to have sex with someone else?

If it's the former, it'shurtful not a huge problem. If it's the latter, it's time to move on.

Tell her you've been actively thinking about fricking other women, and name someone close to her. Like her sister, best friend, mom, etc.
