How much of a pussy-dryer would it be if I told a girl I'm a gamedev?

How much of a pussy-dryer would it be if I told a girl I'm a gamedev?
Like, I make enough from it to pay all my bills and it is a very comfy """job"""", but I'm afraid of telling it to a woman and her female brain automatically assume I'm a low-t nerd loser or something.
I'm in college btw.

Tell her you work for a tech company. She doesn't need to know the details.

This is such a dumb question. Are you making hentai games or something?

      >Are you making hentai games or something?
No, but the word "game developer" just sounds pathetic to someone who doesn't know anything about gamedev

It doesn’t. You can flower it up a bit as: “I’m in software development, specifically game design”. That’s good enough. People fall in love with janitors, waiters, accountants, and gas station workers. Your job doesn’t define you in the eyes of most decent people.

This is really weird to say, why work in a field you're ashamed of? Gamedev is a legit career and one that can make money follow your passion. Tons of women play games, too.

Stop feeling ashamed of yourself or ditch the career since you're so eager to fit into a box of what men should be to get the most loose prostitutes who pale in comparison to a pretty gamer girl (every chick I've dated gamed with me)

I'm not ashamed of it - I'm actually proud of most of the stuff I've created.

Stop reading red pill forums and shit like that. If she ever hears those terms, that’s an insane pussy dryer. Something along the lines of “I have a nerdy job, but I really like it” is enough. Most people are super attracted to confidence and passion. If you’re a pro chess player, that’s a panty dropper, if you’re really into union activities that’s a panty dropper as well. As long as you show you’re a decent human with lots of love to give you’re gonna be fine.

Don't get me wrong, I'm very passionate about what I do - I just can't see a nerdy job being a panty dropper kek

Have you ever watched any Dropout show? Have you ever gone to a Star Trek or Star Wars con? Nerdy men are hot as frick. It’s never been more attractive to be a nerd in the history of humanity.

6 feet Chads who wear glasses and watched 2 episodes of Star Trek are "hot as frick", not nerds.
But regardless, I'm not a nerd (I was back in my teenage years, tho), so even if what you said was true it wouldn't apply to me.

Now that I've stopped to read these replies I'm really wondering if it truly is all just in my mind.
Maybe I've become bitter over the years? But then again: I've seen with my own eyes women reject men for absolutely moronic reasons (like not having an Iphone).

Personally I wouldn't want to be with a person who would seriously leave someone over (not) having an iphone so you don't really lose anything in this situation IMHO you're just dodging a bullet, trash taking itself out etc. That being said if you're really embarrassed of telling people you're a game dev you can tell them you're a programmer or that you work in the tech industry

You aren't actually wrong to assume that women would be turned 'off' by it. Tech jobs that are high paid can still be viewed as having low social status so vapid c**ts will be turned off. The more sensible ones still won't be very impressed but they won't mind if it earns you money. Being a game dev who makes 0 money from it would probably piss off your gf though, it hasn't got any of the romantic "starving artist" appeal lol

And even if was a true wealth income indicator, money shouldn't be a reason to reject anyone (just like how being nerdy shouldn't)

You have it backwards. If you want other people to respect you, try respecting yourself first NERD

I do have pride in my work, but it is not my fault that normies have a moronic view of it.

Ok, let me make this as clear as I can:
I genuinely believe I've created art thru my work and I AM proud of it, but it is not my fault that other people (who don't know how much skill and passion my job requires) think that it is just a "childish hobby", and it is also not my fault that most people from the gender I'm attracted to fall under this category of people.

If she doesn't see past the moronic normie view then you'd be even more moronic to get with her. I know you're pussy-starved but eating poison won't kill your hunger.

If you're just trying to impress "the hoes" just say some made up title that's slightly related to game development. If you're looking for a person you love you, just tell them your truth, if they're into that nerdy sounding stuff, they'll love you even more. My girlfriend finds it very cute that I make roblox foot art on the side for money. Because she loves me.

If they love you, they'll love what you do.
