Truth is no one cares... if you're enjoying it, than that's all that matters man. Just think about it: maybe the amount of time you have with your parents is the amount of times a "succesful" person with she/he had with theirs. From the wealthy people I've had the experience to talk to, they all said that in the end what matters in the company you got in your journey, not just money. Most of them regret working so hard and not spending that much time with their family. They're the ones you should care for, not the randoms you impress when driving cars and shit.

It's all about perspective and your philosophy of life. You don't owe anything to anybody.

Right. You could maybe try to make some more money but you don't have to make yourself a wage slave merely because other people are doing it. Money is a mere means to an end. People are not.

If you’re genuinely happy with your life then you’re automatically doing better than 90% of humanity by default

If you're happy and you're not hurting anyone then you're alright by me. The other anon is right, doing what society considers well and being happy aren't necessarily the same thing. Having peace is a valuable thing in and of itself. Now, there are some things that maybe rival happiness in terms of importance like social, emotional, and physical health. Are you mentioning your low income, overweight, and lack of a girlfriend because these things bother you? When it comes to changing these things I view it through a lens of readiness and willingness to change. Wings lacks impetus to change because he's satisfied merely having a wife and making money as an epic streamer. Other people want more for their lives, but they can't force him to beat his addictions or conduct himself more maturely.

You're projecting your own misery to people during their vulnerable moments. We all kinda do that but you're going full moron with it.

        >Are you mentioning your low income, overweight, and lack of a girlfriend because these things bother you?
I wonder if the lack of these things should bother me, some would think a situation in the original post is a fate worse than death, meanwhile at worst it only bothers me but not so much to either do anything about it or off myself. Much of philosophy teaches to desire less and practice more gratitude, so regardless if I someday end up in this situation by choice or not, I believe life is still worth living as long as joy still exists.

Sure. You're a genetic dead end.
        Failing at life itself.

I believe the purpose of our existence is to enjoy it as much as we can while practicing good morals. If one desires to have children then they better prepare to be willing to die for them or make any other sacrifices in order to protect them. Whether by choice or not I am currently unprepared to be a father, and becoming a father as an unready parent is foolish, the last thing this world needs is parents who don't deserve to be parents.

    >am I still a loser?
Yes because you aren't continuing your parents bloodline.

My parents continued their bloodline, and I still live with the consequences of it. My father is still is a selfish, violent narcissist, but fortunately my mother is a good woman. On my 13th birthday my father pulled a knife on one of my family members and the rest of my family had to get out of the house to get away from him while one of our neighbors called the cops, and still to this day he refuses to acknowledge his horrible behaviors that has ever happened in the past.

There is no point continuing a bloodline if you're going to end up as a corrupt and/or useless parent. Whether by choice or not, I am currently useless since I am low income, and if it truly bothered me I would either work harder or kill myself. If I ever have children I will only have children if I ever am ready.

It's also insane to think people only exist to continue bloodline. Like you said, continuing a lineage should be done with dignity and more importantly you don't have to do what random people's opinions dictate.

If you had to move out of your parents house, could you be self sufficient? If so, you're fine.

No, it kind of sucks not having the choice to move out since it's too expensive but doesn't suck enough where I hate my life. The only time I would want to kill myself is if I was severely disabled like being blind, deaf, mute, and limbless all at the same time.

Eventually you will have to live independently. I think that's what the poster was saying, to prepare for that. It's not about moving out to keep up with the Jonses, it's about making sure you will not be wanting to have a nice day if something happens to your parents. Like I said before, where there's a will there's a way.

34 and in the same position

Work a min wagie job I enjoy
    Live with my parents.
    Don't have a social life
Spend most of my time just reading or learning about random things
Enjoy the simple life and overall pretty content and happy.
I haven't experienced depression in years

It's when I forced myself to do all this stuff like going on trips, having an active social life that I felt burnt out and depressed. Heck it left me suicidal and not want to live beyond 25. I think the only reason I'm alive now is that I'm living more authentically than worrying too much about how something will look.
People say they support alternative lifestyles but I realised they really don't, anything that deviates from the norm is weird to them. Not having and when you want to take 3 weeks off work is weird to them and something they often shame or make you feel weird for. Heck, even not having a social media page is weird

That's especially true on this website, many here are anti-normie yet are secretly envious of them, they're failed normies but still have normie desires. Meanwhile the actual non-normies like monks or anything society deems as unordinary or "loser" just live their lives, doesn't mean they're better or worse it just means they do whatever they want without being a dick about it.

Yeah. But keep in mind there are differences between being an incel and a monk.
