New manmade global warming fear porn just dropped

Methane, a greenhouse gas 21x-100x more potent than CO2 at trapping in heat, is seeping out of our landfills at a staggering rate. This is all due to our over consumption. If we don’t get this fixed immediately, the world’s greatest cities will be under water within 2 and a half decades. Florida will be completely under water by 2030.
>New York
More like Nope York, as it will be completely gone.
California will just have its mountains peaking out.
We can fix this if we switch to 100% wind and solar immediately, while also removing all ICE vehicles from the road and switching to EVs. We’re all in this together.

    What's worse, extinction or bankruptcy?

We need a rental-based economy. There would be way less junk in the world. 1 car for every 5 people, 1 lawnmower per neighborhood, etc. You'd actually live better and feel richer because you'd have access to way more things than you do currently and at a fraction of the cost. Easy example is how many movies can you rent via stream for the cost of one DVD if you were to own everything. Or if you only drive to and from work but pay $1000 for your car (+ gas/ins/maint). Instead you could go to work in a BMW for a small fraction of the cost only you wouldn't own it. There are endless upsides and no downsides which is why there is a propaganda push against this solution.

As with co2, a stink will be made that the west must do everything it can. China and india may do whatever they please.

This is by design though. They started turning landfils into "bioreactors" specifically to make methane to harvest.

oh no, if only there was a technology to extract that methane like some sort of biodigester... oh wait, that tech does exist. Shit, don't tell the goyim, we just want to tax them we don't actually want to fix anything.

This is stupid, but people produce way too much garbage. American average is like 3 bags a day or something ridiculous.
Also that wouldnt be a problem if they just composted the natural materials FFS

You'll never hear them reveal the carbon footprint of the genocide in Gaza or the war in Ukraine fuelled by western endless arms supply. Nobody asks why we build ballistic missiles, tanks and warships without taking the planet into account. These people are helping the slaughter of theousands of children as we speak and we are supposed to believe they care about the planet.

MANY scientists are so sure that the sea level will rise visibly in the coming decades that they are advising planners to adopt new strategies now. A predicted rise in sea level of one foot within the next 30 to 40 years will drive much of the Atlantic and Gulf shoreline inward by a hundred feet and some of it by more than a thousand feet, according to marine geologists. The environmental and economic consequences will be felt much farther inland.

Morton is a geologist at the University of Texas who for the past six years has been studying erosion on the Texas coast. Using topographic maps dating back to the 1850s, old aerial photographs, and modern infrared photography, he’s concluded that all that lovely blue water is chewing up all that lovely white sand at the rate of ten to fifteen feet a year. If Morton’s calculations are correct—and no scientist has disputed them—the ocean will be lapping at the retaining wall of the Beach House and its neighbors in ten years.

    >We can fix this if we switch to 100% wind and solar immediately, while also removing all ICE vehicles from the road
You're a moron. This is garbage. It has nothing to do with energy sources and vehicles.
And the solution is simple: Cap the garbage dumps, collect the methane and burn it for energy.

All of the rednecks where I live think climate change is bullshit. They also love ice fishing. This past winter was the first one in anyone's memory when the ice barely froze enough for ice fishing. My grandmother is 90, she's never seen a year when there was no ice fishing season. We have opossums here now, I've seen 3 of them dead on the side of the road since winter, we never had them before.
