QRD on picrel?
My lil bro is a bit chonky, but not too bad, girls don't seem to mind.
Recently got a job that required physical and their doc is egging him on to take it.
Obviously it's a scam. Do they get commission for selling it? Said he'd think about it, the docs office called him back twice so far to take the drugs.
>inb4 doctors nose
Bro is a normie and not a noticer, sadly the gift has not been passed on to him.

Semaglutide has been around a long time to treat diabetes (FDA approved in 2017). They are now just starting to use it for weight loss but it's not going to end up like fen-phen (at least I don't think it will)

Absolutely, that is how new medications work. Send samples to the doctors to get a patient hooked, pay $200 of a patient's copay to keep them coming, charge Medicare patient $500 a month.

      Abstain from the pill form.
It is much too hard on you in pill form and causes depression, like you literally start to feel less joy and the world looking grey.
2 trials on the injection and one with the pill form.
You won't even notice the issues with the pill form until you drop it.
After 2 days you feel the effects on your mind fade and realiser how much it killed your joy.

It's not, you lying frick. Max dose for Ozempic (semaglutide for diabetes) is 2mg. Max dose for Wegovy (weight loss version of the same compound, semaglutide) is 2.4mg.

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) is better anyway. You can even order retatrutide powder from China and reconstitute it yourself.

i saw a 10mg pen somewhere, fake news? could be 4x the dose, .25 for starters or maybe type 2 its enough, most long term .5, people using 1/2mg for weight lose or more as it's not fda approved for it. so that's at least 2/4x the dose of most standard diabetic users if not 4/8x at trial start to access reaction. no long term data on the biodiversity of different people using it, no checks on how much or how frequent they are using it, no long term data and semaglutide HMMM was apporoved for kids 12+ for weight loss, ridiculous.

Black person, the GLP1 hormone has been studied extensively for 30 years and been used in medications since 2005. Every single study shows reduced mortality and morbidity almost entirely across the board.
I'll say it again: people who have naturally higher levels of this hormone live longer and healthier lives than those who don't, and these medications are 99.9% similar analogues.

Who woud've thunk that the "stimpac" from the game Fallout in 1998 would be the real stimpac of today's boomers.
You may have noticed, 90% of "Medical practice" these days it to flip open a laptop, plug in your symptoms and the prescribe the "right" drug,(which the "patient" will be on for the rest of their lives--all covered by insurance, of course,) and the rest of the time it's for expensive "procedures" that more often than not create more problems than they alleviate.
They likely ARE getting kickbacks for this, and even if they aren't, they probably have stock options in the parent company.
You are doing well if the ONLY time you require a Doctor is for a broken bone, or an infection that needs a course of antibiotics.

It can permanently paralyze your digestive system if you're unlucky.

  20. 1 month ago
    Anonymous

Used it, and understand the core mechanism to some extent. An easy way to think about it is it slows down your digestion, and mimics what your body does after it has eaten. From that perspective, it is like magic, it does help you lose weight. But it's important to understand that you still need to do all the right things, eat the right amount and at the right time, don't eat enough? Nausea. Too much? Vomiting. The ozempic face stuff is literally people losing weight too aggressively and having lose skin, you still need to do the right things, it just helps you manage blood sugar and satiety. I do recommend it, it does help.

  21. 1 month ago
    Anonymous

It slows down gastric emptying and keeps blood sugar stable so you don’t feel hungry physically or mentally. Tirzepatide aka Mounjaro is controls hunger and blood sugar longer and on average people lose 12 lbs more than with semaglutide aka Ozempic. They’re drugs for people with zero willpower
Vomiting and diarrhea and tummy troubles a fairly common side effects and in both short term and long term it can cause thyroid cancer.

      Anonymous

      >long term it can cause thyroid cancer.
In rats. They recommend those with history of thyroid cancer do not take it out of an abundance of caution, but ironically GLP1RAs may even reduce thyroid cancer risk.

Naturally skinny people have higher GLP1 and GIP excretion than obese people.
Semaglutide and tirzepatide (and other GLP1 receptor agonist class drugs) are 99.9% similar to these naturally occurring hormones.
You need meds of a different kind. I recommend risperidone or haloperidol.

Naturally skinny people just don't fricking eat. I don't mind not eating. Hunger is my default state and helps me focus similar to how some people focus better when they need to piss. I'll forego eating for hours after getting hungry because I'm usually engaged in an activity I don't want to stop. Weak willed fat idiots whine and complain if they feel even a twinge of hunger. I only eat one meal a day like a real human. 19.5 bmi.

Drug designed for one thing, being abused to do another. It can frick up your pancreas and your gallbladder. It also fricks with your digestive system causing diarrhea and vomiting. You supposedly can also develop tumors. Its one of those drugs that years from now they'll ban because of how badly it fricks people up and there will likely be class action lawsuits.
