The masculinity of a nation can be measured by the word they use to refer to dick.
For example, in Serbian it's
>kurac
Extremely masculine. There's a sharpness to it. It's like the world itself is meant to penetrate.
In Bulgarian it's
>kur
similar, but it really losses out on the sharpness by dropping the ac.
In Croatian
>pimpek
now, everyone knows how we feel about our catholic Serb bros, but even so I gotta say, this is quite possibly the most feminine way to refer to a KURAC I've ever heard. When you say it
>pee-m-pek
it just sounds gay.
Englishes uses two notable variations, dick and wiener. wiener, of course, sounds more masculine, for obvious reasons, where as dick is fairly neutral. The gender neutral of words for dick, if you will.
What I wanna know is, how y'all refer to
>MUH DICK
in your respective languages.

There's nothing gay about thinking about dicks. It's only gay if you think about sucking on one. In fact, a man should constantly have his dick on his mind, where to stick it in, how to go about doing so.
After all, are dicks not the most masculine things on earth?

It's "хyй" (hooyi), the most common word, is considered too rude to say out loud in presence of elderly or women.
A slightly more publically acceptable word "члeн" (chlen).
There is also a "хep" (haer), which is somewhat in between in terms of politeness. Overall also impolite.
The english sounding "пeниc" (penis) is more or less a medicinal term.

  39. 4 weeks ago
    Anonymous

    You have it backwards anon
Masculine people wll always find masculine words to refer to their masculine traits
While a feminine guy will say "dick" or "penis" even, and they will come across as feminine, a masculine guy will invent a new word, "wiener", and use that to refer to his PHALLVS
    It's always like this
In Sweden mothers would say "snopp", which is like a "button" typically to minimize their boys little peepees, and when those guys grew up they would say "Snorre", which is a more funny slang way to say the same word. And then you got dase, which is relatively new slang with more masculinity just to be able to give more thump to the word

So in essence, it is not the word that reflect the language, it is the language reflecting the people. I bet there are homosexuals who don't use kurac, but use the more feminine words, because they just feel uncomfortable saying kurac because they aren't masculine
