who remembers what they thought when they were 11? chances are you're just reinterpreting your memory and embellishing it with the knowledge you have as an adult either subconsciously or as a cope

I had pretty elaborate political opinions by the time I was 11 and I stuck by a good amount of them, especially being anti-war. To be honest though, a lot of them came from South Park, The Simpsons, and Jon Stewart.

I was already as smart as an adult by 11. My sister was even smarter than me and actually a genius. She used to be on NSFFW around the newbie era but that was a long long fricking time ago.

That's the thing, I don't even think I'm particularly smart or special, I'm not, it's just that there's a lot of smooth-brained morons out there who are a lot dumber than I am. Probably a few billions.

I'd be pretty surprised if 8 billion people weren't dumber than me. I'd also be surprised if a hundred million people weren't smarter.

      It's a midwit feel.

modern society encourages women to not grow up

        Anonymous

Women simply never grow up, they remain mentally children for their entire lives, and require a responsible man to guide them. The fact that society acts as if women can be as mature and capable of leadership as men are is laughable.

this isn't all that surprising. many if not most mental illnesses correlate with intelligence. also there's a blackpill in there: straight sex is less likely to involve smart people (because women get the ick from intelligent men and men are at best indifferent to intelligence in women).

I agree with you to some extent but I also think you need specific examples to understand people like us. I'll give you a recent one I've been dedicating a lot of time to thinking about. I talked about this in middle school with a friend, I even remember her first and last name, that's how well I remember this conversation. I said to her when someone says "if I were you I would have never done that" it doesn't make any sense. Because if you were me you would have done everything I had done before because you would be me. You would have all my same memories and experiences. And she said she knew she had been thinking about that for a while. And I thought I had also been thinking about it for a while. I started saying that recently about my alters as I discovered more about them. They did some shitty stuff. Alters is another "personality", used to be called multiple personalities, is now called DID - dissociative identity disorder. I kept saying I would have never did what they did a lot. Then a psychology today article popped up on my Google feed talking about emotional intelligence and how people who have low emotional intelligence say that a lot because they don't understand the underlying philosophical implications, which were exactly what my friend & I talked about that day in middle school. But the difference is, because I share a body with them, it's more shocking to find out what they have done because I have no memories of it. Or very little (when we fuse I have a chance of remembering). Or only what they tell me when they willingly choose to communicate with me. So that being an indication of low emotional intelligence is true I think, yes, but that article doesn't describe or even understand the scope of circumstances that someone may have those thoughts

This is NSFFW. There's lots of extremely verbally intelligent people here. It's just the reality that some people are smarter than others and have to humour them and that's just an everyday part of their life.

I mean I literally relate to the meme and know other people who can relate to the meme. I talk to people over and over who I have this sort of relationship with where they talk pseudo-profoundly and I have to cheer them on like a parent encouraging their child.

They can try fooling themselves, but the average woman is undisputedly more concerned about their mundane everyday affair than any abstract topic. Even most guys aren't deeply philosophical/intellectual, but they're more likely to dabble with it in general, which is more than you can say for the average girl in general.

what exactly is supposed to be the roman empire's connotation in this meme?

a lot of guys have fascinations with some sort of Roman history, this is where the currently popular meme about "guys thinking about the Roman empire" comes from, as women especially tiktok stacies are extremely vapid prostitutes, the thing they think about instead is dicks and wieners and sex

I don't get that. the roman empire was basically the USA of its time. degenerate "melting pot" society, everybody eating diverse street food for lunch and dinner, constant warfare, cruel circus games (ritual torture and murder), local languages and cultures getting snuffed out in favor of the decadent roman version of everything. the romans were a plight, just like every other empire.
