Duo was good before the normie invasion. All of the mainstream apps suck and are insanely superficial.

I heavily regret not trying duolicious after seeing ads about it here, now all the normies have left but not before bullying the target audience off their own app

Duo was literally always shit. There were never any women on it and the few that were got spammed with literally hundreds of messages so it was just a massive rat-race. I can confidently call it a completely failed experiment.

    >tinder
    bad gender ration
    > duolicious
even worse gender ratio (by a large margin)
    > grinder
you will get a hookup pretty fast (and there is a high chance that the other person is fugly)

I don't like tinder because there's too many people in my area who know me. The girls on duolicious would go silent as soon as I asked to add them on discord. Never used grinder.

      Based, discord is cancer

Unironically had more success with duolicious than with normie dating apps, which is hilarious. Though it was scary to find someone who lived in my relatively small hometown in the middle of europe ngl

I think I'm one of the few that duolicious sort of worked for, so far, maybe?
Back before it got big, I messaged one girl, and it was solid back and forth for a few weeks.
Her interest waned though and she basically stopped talking to me by the end of a month.
Got banned for using the Black person-word, made a new account, and specified in my description that I wouldn't be sending any first messaged as the gender ratio was revealed to be 18:1 and I basically lost hope.
My account got hidden by inactivity, so I decided to check the site one last time, and an hour before I go to delete my account, I got a message from a girl on there.
And my god, words can scarcely describe how amazing it has been.
That said, I think I just got really really really lucky, and I can't in good faith recommend anyone else putting themselves through the grinder, duolicious or otherwise, but hey, maybe you'll be one of the really lucky ones like me?

I still feel like they're basically for "normal people", and I'm not welcome.

Plus, I still have some romantic idea that I want to "just meet" someone, and have it be cute, like an anime. These services are so gross and mechanical in a way that doesn't sit right with me.

So, anyway, I talk to femboys on Twitch now. They get me.

I either include my height and get zero matches (outside of bots or occasional curious/mocking joke match) or I don't include it, get matches, then get unmatched when the question inevitably pops up.
No point bothering anymore, tried for years already.

This. It must be minimum 85% lonely guys on there. All competing for desperate likely mentally ill women who would bother to come here and try a dating app designed specifically for mentally ill lonely desperate people.
Any girl who does that would have to be out of her fricking mind given how easy it would be for her to find someone in real life, let alone regular dating apps.

Every dating app that works on my city is both a sausage party and full of normalgays.
    What's the point?

      >What's the point?
The point of mainstream dating apps is to keep as many people single as possible so they cough up those juicy subscription fees.
I'm not sure what the point of the app in the OP is though. I sure as hell wouldn't trust it.

i used duolicious, i wasn't looking for any sort of a relationship, but i looked for conversation in there; i typed with two girls. One girl ghosted me after 7 days, the other - ghosted me after 8 days

I don't need an app to work out that girls don't find me attractive

i take the lack of any female interest in me in my entire life dating-wise as an indication that I have no value in the eyes of a woman in terms of a relationship. why would I bother with a dating app if no woman has ever reciprocated or expressed interest in me that I've encountered in my life? i've lived long enough that things should have happened by chance if i had any value to bring. no woman considers me for a relationship.

I am largely against apps like tinder/etc as well, as I don't relegate a person to a photograph or just hook-up. I am not unattractive. I don't want a hook-up as my first/only experience. I've never approached a woman in my life. I hinted at interest, but I always left an out to avoid awkwardness. No woman has reciprocated interest, dating-wise. I have had women hint at interest in terms of a hook-up which I declined due to not wanting to drunkenly sleep with a girl I didn't even know. I wanted to date first.

I avoid dating apps because no woman has given me a chance. why bother? Now that I am older, more fit, and financially stable I still view myself with disdain. i have no evidence to the contrary. I almost don't want to give women near my age a chance either, now that those unmarried are getting desperate to settle down. The fact that they completely ignored me all these years would simply spur on the current status quo that we've seen with dating/behaviors. By not participating in the rat race, we'll see the demographic decline that will lead to eventual economic issues in the future. I'll be dead and irrelevant at that point. i know plenty of women (coworkers) who complain about how they can't find a "good" man, while going on over 100+ tinder dates in a given year. they simultaneously don't even consider me an option, even if we get along well. I am a ghost to them, and I'm not going to beg just to get my foot in a door when I'm not wanted.

I don't like the premise and their business model.
If I use a dating apps you'll meet others who also accepts them so to find a person for me it's better to not use them
