I have never in my life experienced nor witnessed anyone get angry or rude over someone not having social media.

Have you considered you're a bit overly sensitive?

not op but I agree with him, when you tell people you don't use socmed their opinion of you changes, as if you're a weirdo or a social outcast or something. People's behaviors turn weird and I'm pretty sure they're the type of people who treat homeless people like shit just because they're outcasts

That only happened to me once and I think it is she got mad because she realised that I am confident with freedom from that crap.

your just sensitive. you're also not intimidating which is why people imagine they have the freedom and license to dare act in such a way to you. you are the walking manifestation of sorry, and lack pride. people would say anything in front of you because they KNOW they can get away with it! Usually people can immediately apprehend what they are able to say to you after only a few of your -- yes, you -- inefficient words. If you were smarter and more confident, people wouldn't dare try any funny business around you; and if they did it would be short-lived as your sardonic deep cutting wisdom would freeze them in their tracks and all of their attention would invert from YOU to their own dim little soul thats suddenly all lit up with scary bright lights, they dontknow whats going on all of the sudden..
so yeah bro you clearly have some big issues. I recommend living life and proving what you can do here and now and maybe, and just maybe then you'll become the man who isn't fricked with because deep down he knows what matters. When you see everything, you become stronger than anything

All of that shit you spewed to a stranger OP on an anonymous imageboard lol. You interpreted all that because he asked about social media users. You don’t know OP at all. Quit pulling shit out your ass.

How am I "weird" for not using social media exactly?

      wrong

I have never in my life experienced nor witnessed anyone get angry or rude over someone not having social media.

Have you considered you're a bit overly sensitive?

I'm not overly sensitive, I once reconnected with someone I had not seen in like 10 years and one of the first things he said annoyingly was "WHY ARE YOU NOT ON FACEBOOK!?" it happens all the time to me. The closest thing I can't describe it to is cult like behavior.

They live their lives on social media. To envision a world without it is impossible, a repulsive thought. Therefore..

      this could be it

Because women don’t like to feel ‘otherized’. They hate it. When they feel like they are doing something that you don’t like, or they are not doing something that you like, they feel like they are now something ‘other’ to you. So they get surprised or flustered when you reveal that you think social media is kinda dumb, it puts them on the spot and they get defensive or passive aggressive because they always want to be seen as socially acceptable to everyone.

      >when you reveal that you think social media is kinda dumb, it puts them on the spot and they get defensive or passive aggressive because they always want to be seen as socially acceptable to everyone.

possibly. I just told her "I can't keep up with that" and she responded in a sarcastic tone "that busy huh?" and I said "it's not that, I just really can't be bothered with it because then I'd have to keep checking it or whatever"... then she blurted out "YOU JUST CHECK IT WHEN YOU HAVE TIME" something like that... I mean what the frick.

She was wanting your social media and felt dejected that you don’t have one nor show an interest to get one. Because she wanted to keep in touch with you.

When you said you can’t be bothered with it, to her that translates to “I can’t be bothered with you.” and she felt bad, because she probably likes you.

why be like that though, so what if I don't use Facebook, if you like me (as a person) then it shouldn't matter, idk it's just weird to me how people get over it.

you could have responded with "better things to do with my time, yeah."
and you would have come across as even more of a judgemental prick.
She got defensive cause she felt attacked, not everything is about you.

          >judgmental prick
uh what? how am I judgmental cause I don't want to use Facebook and why would she feel attacked? Jesus...if I ask someone if they play videogames and they say no I don't get angry and feel attacked.

It’s a woman moment bro. I don’t get it either, maybe some femanon lurking can chime in and confirm it though. When a girl is being snarky with you, it’s usually a sign she likes you. It’s stupid. I was asked to a shitty romance comedy by my wife just the other week. Some loudmouth c**t was being snarky as shit to some poor dude in the movie. I said to my wife
            >why the frick is she being a b***h for?
            and she goes
            >She kinda likes him
            ??
            >How? She was being a c**t to him for nothing
            wife says
            >Ugh, you wouldn’t get it.
And yeah the movie made the two characters date and smash. Apparently women are weird like this. They want your emotional involvement when they like you, and they will be a bit bratty or snarky to pull that emotional involvement out of you to get it.

Where do you draw the line between the reasonable and unreasonable instances of taking offense? And how can you prove that your response to this question is impartial and unbiased?

For all i know you might as well be a social media addict or a fellow feminist that you would sympathize with the woman OP had "insulted".

      >women live in herds
Truth. Every girl I ever known will always want what the other girls have, wear what other girls wear, listen to what other girls deem popular, even buy the same fricking kitchen utensils or makeup sets and even want to replicate the same photographs for shit like their instagram.

I can’t hate them for it though. Women are amazing and their herd mentality is what makes them great mothers to children precisely because they instinctively desire to operate as a unit. Which is perfect for having a family unit. Problem is when mentally ill lunatics poison the culture and women want to be among the here of the poisoned morons.

Any guy who cares or puts weight in what a moronic woman thinks is a beta homosexual loser to begin with. Women don't dictate shit in how a man lives, including social media avoidance. Are women annoying? Sure. Do you need to listen to them or care about their opinion? Frick no.
