Why should I work hard to establish a career?
I have little romantic prospects despite being good looking. Any company that I would work for inevitably hates me and wants to replace me with immigrants. The government hates me for the same reason. The money is quickly becoming less and less valuable. "My" country won't be recognizable when I'm 80.
The only reason I would work is so I'm not a financial burden on my parents, which might only take like 10-15k a year. I could make that part-time or without working a job or doing stuff online or something, right? So why should I not just drop out?
I don't want to slave away making shitty bloatware while surrounded by pajeets.

Find an employee you can somehow steal millions of dollars from before you disappear to a better country with no extradition treaty.

It's true. America offers nothing to its native citizens anymore. Jobs refuse to hire anyone or play livable wages.

Me and my entire known family were born here, so yes I am. This is my country. Or it was, but the israelites have taken it from us.

The word "native" comes from the same root as "nation", and both have to do with birth. I am a native of the geopolitical entity that is America.

You should work hard to establish a PURPOSE. If a career is involved that’s entirely incidental

I doubt I'll get that in a job

I never said you had to find your purpose in a job. Life is work anon. Doing the dishes, cleaning yourself, even just walking outside are all activities that expend energy. A job exists to get you money

That isn't living, that's existing. You're only truly alive if you have the freedom to do whatever you want whenever you want. Wasting my life working for some israelite isn't living.

Don't you want to do anything? Or do you really just want to get drunk and smoke weed all day like a moron?

Cook for my family, develop free software, play/make music, learn about philosophy and history, maybe join a rec sports league or something, maybe make a youtube channel

You should do all that stuff and tell the career to go frick itself. Society is ending anyway.

I fricking hate living with the sole purpose of collecting little green slips or numbers on a screen. I'm making nearly double what I made a few years ago and the world is still just as disappointing. Wow, I can afford more shit that I don't care about, big fricking deal.

I never understood people's obsession money. Nobody is going to care about how much money you had when you're dead. Money is useless when you're dead so pursuing it is a waste of time.

tbh i hope you give up. i hope you don't work. i hope you don't establish a career. i hope nobody has to rely on you to deliver anything. i hope you never move out. i hope your parents die and they have no money in the estate left to pay for their funeral. i hope you realize at 46 that your life was a waste and your parents secretly resent you because they never got to have their own lives again because you're too insufficient.

and when they die and you have nothing your poor dogshit health lands you in the hospital i will happily pay my taxes every april 15th to keep you alive another year longer so you can exist in the hell you created for yourself.

I mean that's fair, I definitely need to make sure to always be keeping my skills up and being productive. But am I not just as likely to feel like I wasted my life waging?

you see work as pointless because you aspire to be nothing beyond what you are now; useless 18 forever child too scared to make a move. i see work as the means that provides me with the resources i want to achieve the things i want to achieve in life. bury your head in the sand and waste away or have a goal and aim to do something with your currently useless life.

When the "means to an end" consumes half of your time shouldn't you rethink that?

no. my job is challenging, interesting and pays well. the alternative is fricking around on the internet or playing the same video game again and again.

There's nothing I want to achieve in life. I just want to go on an adventure.

            >nothing i want to achieve except for going on an adventure
lol. do you want to go on an adventure or do you want an adventure to just happen to you? there is no secret door that will open in your closet. there is no letter in the mail inviting you to magic school. you will not wake up one day with extraordinary abilities. if you want an adventure you will need to make it happen instead of sleeping all day, jacking off and playing your thousandth hour in wahtever video game you use to escape life with. in order to make your adventure happen you will need money. in order to get money you will need a job. soon you will find that the better your job the more adventures you can have. you might even find that, if youre going to be spending your time funding your adventures, you might as well make sure that the job you have is tolerable. maybe you even find that you enjoy something you never thought you would.

welcome to life and growing up.

Based. This is the ultimate answer to half the threads on this board.
