Why were women ever allowed to be nurses?

Why were women ever allowed to be nurses? They've had this job market in lock decades before the world started to really get pozzed, and as someone who works with nurses ( in essentially a nurses aide) they are mostly just c**ts and prostitutes. Who in the 1950s thought this was a good idea.

It predates the 50’s. Nurse has been a feminine word for a long time, not until recently have men been called nurses (orderly was a male nurse). The nurses cleaned up the blood, piss, shit, and puke, changed bandages and bedding, bathed and fed, etc., and these are all women’s work, which is why nurses have been women. Men took the more important role of doctor. The problem isn’t women being nurses, it is feminism removing the social expectations of women in general.

So when did nurses start getting medical responsibilities?

Pretty sure the 60’s was start of it with it getting common in the 70’s, nurse is a very broad term now though, with all the variations. You could be a nurse making 20/h just doing the shit work or a nurse making doctor pay with all the responsibilities and the ability to write Rx.

So when did nurses start getting medical responsibilities?

Nursing in terms of the application of a body of knowledge to care for the sick and dying in a methodological way, was traditionally performed by men. The Order of St John of Jerusalem and the Knights Hospitaller is an example of a male religious order whose core function was ministering to the sick and dying. The methods of caring for the sick were studied and practiced by men of religious orders throughout Europe in as early as the Middle Ages. Medicine entered the universities during the early renaissance, this increased the scholarly prestige of medicine and so during that time male religious orders became more focussed on science and medicine and the more mundane facets of nursing care was taken on by female religious orders. As nuns took over nursing was seen to be less prestigious. In the late Victorian era Florence Nightingale established a school for nurses and further entrenched nursing as a profession for women. The reality is that men are actually better at caring for the sick than women. I've seen it and experienced it myself many times.

Only have anecdotal on that, one male nurse and 4 female nurses, all that I got to know well over the 6 months I spent in their burn ward, also one male and one female doctor splitting time there. The male nurse was very good, no nonsense get shit done right kind of guy, always on top of shit and often rectifying the issues from a couple of the female nurses not doing their jobs. One of the female nurses was stand out type of very good too. The male doctor was an absolute fricking clown that was more than happy to just check in while the nurses did his job, and the female doctor was highly professional and competent, always explaining everything and showing minimum empathy as a courtesy while effectively torturing me with wound care.

Im planning to become a male nurse no cap. An NP can work 35-40 hours a week and make 120k-140k in big cities, which is a similar pay per hour worked to a mid-tier lawyer who maybe makes 300k but works 60+ hours a week

120k in a big city is basically nothing. That’s what I make now, and I live with my parents because I can’t afford a house.

I'm an MD. NP can be good but I heard the market is hitting some saturation now due to so many NP diploma mills. Tons of people did what you're doing but they did it ten years ago. You can do better even than you said in terms of income, but you also should think a lot about which specific type of NP or what role you want. PA is another option. Also, floor nurse (med/surg basically) is fairly lucrative and you typically only work three twelve hour shifts per week. Travel can get you even more cash. Also think about easy RN jobs like endoscopy.

Also the field is simultaneously extremely sexist against you while also giving you the worst patients every day (the rudest, fattest, and angriest). They make you lift and carry every heavy thing and take care of the violent ones. But you'll never get promoted because they're girl-bosses. Can still be a good job just look out for yourself and get in and get out. Focus on your financial goals.

Easier to go the Physicians Assistant route. 4 year degree in anything then on the job while getting paid training to be essentially the same as a Nurse Practitioner who has done 6-8 years of ongoing education. Do a rural service program to pretty guarantee acceptance and getting most or all of it for free.

I'm an IT consultant who does maybe 2 hours of real heads down work per week and sits around on pointless meetings the rest of the time while posting on /misc/, playing video games, or having a nice mid day frick break with my wife when the kids are napping, and I make 140k. Don't spend your time in some shitty hospital dealing with Black folk and morons and getting threatened to take the jab or get fired.

Nice digits. Also yes, listen to this anon, that gig sounds awesome. Personally I believe that's far more than enough money to have everything you'd really want or need in life, don't need to have a nice day seeking more that will be meaningless. What type of education/training pathway should someone undertake to get your job?

Women gatekeep all the front lines of society.
They are on every desk, every phone.
They decide who sees the boss and when.
If you don't look Chad enough, or they don't like the tone of your voice - your appointments will get messed around, your files will get lost, you will receive no call back.

They are absolute fricking c**ts who have ruined all standards in society.

As I've gotten older, I cannot tolerate people who don't do things properly. Who aren't efficient and effective.
Women just take shortcuts with everything because they are lazy and want to get back to their phone.

Doctors in war employed women to assist so male patients wouldn't cry, scream, b***h, and moan nearly so much about their missing hands or shredded organs etc because a woman was nearby so they wanted to look tough.

    Doctors.
They like to hire nice pretty women to frick in the broom closet. They go through them even today like cans of soda.
And everyone responds better to a motherly woman adjusting your pillow, who again, the doctor fricks in the vacant X-Ray room.
And going back to that, these are highly educated men who also have weiners.
You expect them to fill the hospital with sausage?
Work with a bunch of jock straps all day?
    Oh no they never did.
They got pretty nurses and sucked their bewbies.

I always hear this and while I'm sure there's some truth to it, the number of doctors that I interact that are quasi-incel men is astounding. Most of these guys are so repellent that I doubt they can get anyone who isn't a prostitute to frick them.

Women are naturally attracted to jobs/occupations that involve catering to people/animals.
Hence why so many women in nursing (and medecine/retirement homes in general), as well as veterinarians.

I get nurses since they're around alot of gangbanger and scum of the earth people all day. That probably triggers their hypergamy and cheating happens. School teachers I don't get?
