I have an idea for a game where Duke wakes up from a coma to discover the Earth has been taken over by They Live style aliens propagating woke ideology and has to single handedly destroy them.

Duke Nukem sort of was a They Live video game. Half-Life and HL2 was a more fleshed-out realization of this concept and had some of the same developers. Both Duke and HL are about aliens taking over and restricting human reproduction (stealing the babes in Duke) and corrupting the authorities.
I would buy this and the moronicly expensive DLCs they released every 3 months to make it more than a 3 hour gameplay

Duke Nukem was one of the biggest franchises in late 90's / early 00's and the original Duke Nukem Forever was meant one of the greatest games of all time. But we had no idea how fricking incompetent the devs were. Especially Broussard who had apparently no idea how to lead a big project.
