The only things you should go to a doctor for are prescriptions (tell them what you need) or life-saving classic surgeries (i.e. types of surgery done pre-1950), most surgeons of that type are competent enough since they get filtered from that specialty if they aren't

NEVER trust your or your loved ones health to doctors or hospital staff. Always verify everything action they try to take. Hospitals are dangerous places full of incompetent people. Double check any medicine before they give it to you. Have a plan for your own treatment before you go, do your research and know your options. Don't go to hospitals in poor neighborhoods with lots of black staff.
