No it isn't. Stop thinking in terms of whose organism the off-spring emerged from and start thinking in terms of bonds that form via giving a child a worthy childhood, i.e. adopting it. The kid would most likely live to adulthood and beyond either way, so by giving it a good home you can raise the child in a proper home, ultimately improving the humanity which you seem to care about.
