If I could get away with it I suppose I would do it, I do get a sense of physical intimidation or superiority over shorties that makes me feel like bullying them even if I don't actually do it. And everyone in the family is rather physically fit and active, myself included. At this height and size you kind of have to be or you get pain and joint problems, at least I do.

Well that's part of it, I think it's rough on the women of the family meanwhile the men all benefit from it.
As for a husband and kids, I suppose there's some obligation to the family to continue the trend of keeping things tall, but personally I don't really have any preference towards a guy's height so long as I like the guy himself. From my own experience I guess is why height doesn't register to me in that way, so he could be 5 foot tall and be my shortie king so long as he was a great guy I felt special about.
